The High Cost of a “Cheap” Website
Dustin Gadd at Unbreakable Roofing is an expert at his craft, but his digital presence was a liability. He was relying almost exclusively on NextDoor and word-of-mouth. His existing GoDaddy Aero site was a “ghost site”—it was invisible to search engines, lacked professional imagery, and provided zero credibility for high-ticket roofing bids.
In the construction world, if your website looks like a “chuck-in-a-truck” operation, you’ll never land the commercial contracts or the premium residential jobs. Dustin had zero marketing infrastructure and no professional way to communicate with clients via email. He was leaving money on the table every single day.
I shored up his foundation, and did a curb-appeal treatment
I didn’t just “build a website.” I built a business asset. My approach is simple: I handle the tech so the owner can handle the crews. I took the lead on:
- Brand Identity: Developing a new, rugged logo that reflects the “Unbreakable” name.
- Content Management: I wrote every word of the copy. I didn’t ask Dustin for a “rough draft”—I interviewed him, understood his business, and translated that into professional sales copy.
- Backend Reliability: Setting up professional business email and SEO foundations that GoDaddy’s DIY builders simply cannot touch.
- Strategic Flexibility: The site is built to be a living tool. When demand shifts or we want to push a “winter-proofing” offer, the site is updated instantly to match the market.

To stand out on NextDoor and Facebook; I made sure his quality and experience immediately made him stand out from the crowd. Knowing he’s working with the same concern for your home as you do went a good ways towards the higher-conversion rates his website keeps getting.
My Favorite Part: The Hand-Off
The best part of this project wasn’t the code; it was the simplicity for the client. Dustin stayed on the roof and in the field. I sent him the final link, and his response was short and to the point: “That’s pretty slick.” He didn’t have to learn WordPress, he didn’t have to troubleshoot email servers, and he didn’t have to play project manager for a designer.
The Results
Time Frame: 5 weeks from concept to launch. The Result: Unbreakable Roofing now has the digital “face” to match the quality of their work. They are no longer a “hidden” company; they are a professional entity ready for the 2026 season. He’s had dozens of contact form submissions and seen bigger job numbers since September.
